Visa & documents

Visa and document requirements checklist

Check this list before you apply. Complete, readable and correctly attested documents are the single biggest factor in how quickly an application moves.

Core documents for every application

Whatever your destination, employers and consulates start from the same set. Upload files as PDF, JPG, JPEG or PNG, up to 10 MB each.

Valid passport

Machine-readable passport with at least 12 months validity beyond your intended travel date and two blank visa pages. Scan the information page in colour.

CV / résumé (Europass format preferred)

One or two pages in English listing employment dates, employer names, job titles and duties. European employers and consulates prefer the Europass layout.

Photographs

Recent biometric photos: 35 × 45 mm, white background, face covering 70–80% of the frame, no glasses or headwear except for religious reasons.

Police clearance certificate

Issued by your national police authority within the last 3–6 months. Bangladeshi applicants obtain this through the Police Clearance Certificate portal.

Medical certificate

Fitness-to-work medical from an approved centre. Gulf destinations require a GAMCA / Wafid medical; European employers usually request a general fitness report.

Experience & trade certificates

Employment letters, trade test results, driving licences (with international permit where relevant) and any technical or language certificates.

Requirements by route

Standard European rules apply to most destinations, with extra steps depending on where you currently live and the type of contract.

European / Schengen work visa (type D)

Standard package requested across Romania, Poland, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Lithuania, Bulgaria and other EU states.

  • Employer work permit or invitation approved by the destination labour authority
  • Signed employment contract stating role, salary, hours and accommodation
  • Passport valid 12+ months, plus copies of all used pages
  • Police clearance certificate, legalised and translated where required
  • Medical fitness report and travel/health insurance for the first period of stay
  • Educational and trade certificates, attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where the consulate asks for it
  • Proof of accommodation and, for some consulates, proof of funds for initial living costs
  • Biometric appointment at the consulate or its authorised visa centre (VFS / TLS)

Applicants living in Bangladesh

Additional steps handled locally before travel.

  • BMET registration and smart card issued by the Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training
  • Recruiting agency demand letter, power of attorney and attested employment contract
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs attestation of educational and experience certificates
  • Government-approved pre-departure briefing and Probashi Kallyan Bank clearance where applicable
  • GAMCA / approved centre medical for Gulf destinations

Expatriates applying from the Middle East / Gulf

If you currently work in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman or Bahrain.

  • Valid residence permit (Iqama / Emirates ID / QID) with a copy of both sides
  • No-objection certificate or release letter from your current sponsor when required
  • Exit/re-entry or final exit documentation for the transition period
  • Police clearance from your country of residence in addition to your home country
  • Salary certificate and last 3–6 months of bank statements for consulate proof of funds
  • Certificates attested by the local embassy of the destination country

Seasonal & short-term contracts

Agriculture, tourism and hospitality placements with fixed end dates.

  • Seasonal work permit issued to the employer for the specific season
  • Contract stating the exact start and end date of the season
  • Return travel arrangement or employer undertaking to cover it
  • Accommodation confirmation provided by the employer
Requirements change with national immigration rules and each employer's own policy. Always confirm the current list with the destination consulate before paying any third party. NextFly Global does not guarantee employment, work permits or visas, and never asks you to submit altered documents.
